Darcey, my pup and I had a brilliant day last Saturday on our first but not last dog friendly tour of Portrush! We met new friends, learnt interesting facts, had gorgeous Guinness at the Harbour bar, lovely coffee scones and doggie biscuits at Tillys cafe ending up with Lacada beer tasting and delicious lunch at restaurant 55 degrees north. Really good value for money and would thoroughly recommend the tour. Places are limited so well worth booking in advance.

Evie my four year old Yorkshire terrier and I had a brilliant morning at the dog friendly tour in Portrush. It’s a great opportunity to meet other lovely people and their furry friends. Not only do you get to hear a lot of interesting facts and background about the North coast area, you get to sample the food and flavours of the local eateries. Not least the hand crafted Guinness in the Harbour Bar. Jo the host was very knowledgeable and witty. She put us at our ease and time flew by. This tour ticks all the boxes and is a great way to spend Saturday morning.

Had an absolutely brilliant day exploring Belfast with Dog Friendly Tours! Was great visiting so many brilliant dog friendly bars and sampling the local beers and food. The tour was expertly organised with plenty of water and treats arranged in each of the venues. We met so many other dogs and owners and I would recommend the tour to anyone who wants to see what Belfast has to offer for dogs and dog lovers!!

Bark on the Barge was a Blast!

On Sunday the inaugural Bark on the Barge Dog Friendly Belfast Tour II, took place in the City Centre.  Our usual meeting place for all Belfast Tours is the Dirty Onion on Hill Street, which is dog friendly inside and out, so tour guests met at 11.30am for a welcome tea or coffee, water and dog treats.  We were blessed with the weather…not too hot and a nice light breeze.  Perfect touring conditions for humans

WOW…simply fabulous!

It has been absolutely wonderful having the glorious sunshine of the past week, shine on our wee country.  I love Northern Ireland anytime of year, but when the sun shines, there really is nowhere else I would rather be.  The sun highlights all that is amazing on this island, and it is a privilege to to be able to show locals and visitors around.  From the North West 200 last week, where plenty of first

On Saturday, the Big Woof Halloween Howler Tour took place in Portrush amid the finals of the World Surf Kayaking Competition 2017.   There was certainly a lot of activity around the strand as usual – Portmagic is certainly not quiet! Days out in the Autumn…keep up with the exercise!

Well what a change in the weather today from the past few days!  Monday was a glorious day with 19˚ Degrees and blue skies, so after work, Georgie and I headed off for a picnic in the park!  Today however, is more in keeping with the Autumnal season as the rain lashed down this afternoon.   I guess the plants did need watering after all. At this time of year, it is extremely easy to

Being dog friendly pays!

Here is the link to a great feature in the Telegraph, highlighting the economic benefits of being a dog friendly establishment. Its true, if you are out and about with your dog and fancy stopping for a coffee or an ice-cream, it can be extremely awkward trying to get served.  I have stood in shop doorways, and signalled to friendly staff that I would like a water, or a coffee outside please.  Some of them
